ML alignment runs OpenAI Whisper on-device via transformers.js, then aligns the transcript to your lyric words with edit-distance matching. This is ASR + text alignment, not true CTC forced alignment — only words still pending get filled, so manual edits are never overwritten. Requires internet on first run (model download, cached after) and only works when this file is opened directly in a browser tab, not inside the chat preview.
